How To Convert An Office Document To A PDF and Vice Versa

Written Steps:

1) Select Start then click on the office publication file that you wish to convert.

2) Select File then click Save As.

3) Choose a file name, click the drop down list next to Save As Type and select PDF.

4) Click options and configure the settings so that it suits your preferences then select OK. I will leave it as the default for the purpose of this tutorial.

5) When you have finished customising the settings, select Save.

We now have a PDF version of the word processed document that was created.

6) For now, close the PDF file then minimise the Word document.

7) Open your preferred web browser then search for: PDF to Word.

8) Customise the conversion options above then click Select a File. Navigate to the PDF that you saved earlier and click open.

9) Type in the email that you wish for the converted file to be sent to then select convert it!

If you already have an account on this site then you will be prompted at this point to enter your login credentials before continuing. Do so, then select Convert It! once more.

10) After it has finished processing, select Download Converted File.

11) If you’re using Google Chrome then the download will appear in the lower left corner. Right click the file and select show in folder.

(It will be a similar process for other web browsers).

Congratulations! If you’ve followed these steps correctly then you will have been able to successfully convert an office publication to file to a PDF and then return it to its previous state.
