An Ode to Cloud Technology
You minimise the use of hardware in accessing information
Cloud, that place that is blue and peaceful
Just like most technology, you make our business lives so easy
We don’t need to physically attend meetings.
You save us when our computers up and die on us with no warning
Oh cloud, dear cloud you save us from mourning
We don’t even have to print pages upon pages because we can just drop them in a box,
A cloud box.
The Amazon must be grateful to you;
For now trees can be saved and monkeys among others will still have their homes
All because of you,
Cloud, dear cloud.
Even in your goodness we still fear, fear your vulnerability,
For as wide and beautiful as you are, you house thunder and lightening
What will happen to our data if something goes wrong?
If some wise guy hacks into our cloud space?
We have faith however that in no distant time
You will be perfected,
But since nothing is perfect,
You might attain that level that might ease our fears considerably.
But until then,
We still appreciate the level you are in right now
We are mighty proud that you were created
We hail you dear cloud technology for you are an awesome creation.
